The screenplay for “The Anchor Field” is based on the novel by the same name by Vladislav Krapivin, a famous science fiction writer Julius Radomir by the nickname of “Ejiki” is an orphan who lives in the boarding house of a Special Super School for gifted children. Sometimes the boy sneaks out of school to ride the circle line of the metro and to listen to the voice of his mother, who once worked at the ministry of transportation and announced the station names. During his journey from one station to another, listening to his mother’s voice, and remembering the past, Ejiki forgets about his everyday life. One day, while traveling the usual route, something strange happens: his dead mother’s voice announces the name of the station that never existed on the line. Ejiki exits the metro and is greeted by a field, covered in anchors of all forms and sizes. So start the adventures of the boy, who soon finds out that is mother is alive, but is kidnapped to the parallel universe. An unknown organization takes care of the gifted children, expecting them one day to manifest their extraordinary abilities, which are triggered under extreme emotional duress, usually - by the deaths of their parents.
